    Travertine Services

Travertine shows up all over Southern California homes: foyers, great rooms, kitchens, showers, patios and pool decks. It is soft, porous and full of natural holes, so it wears faster than most stones. It etches with acids, the fill pops out of its holes, grout gets dirty, and outdoor travertine fades and grows algae. Our crews take care of all of it.

    Travertine Hole Filling

Open pits and holes collect dirt and make a floor look worn. We clean the holes out, fill them with a color-matched cement-based or epoxy filler depending on the location, then hone the fill flush so it blends into the stone.

    Travertine Cleaning

We deep clean the stone and grout with stone-safe, pH-neutral products, never acid. If an old topical coating or wax is peeling or yellowed, we strip it first.

    Travertine Honing

Progressive diamond pads remove scratches, etch marks and traffic wear, leaving a smooth matte or satin finish that is less slippery and hides future wear well.

    Travertine Polishing

For a reflective, high-gloss look, we keep honing through finer diamonds and then polish. Not sure which finish to pick? We'll show you on a test area first.

    Travertine Sealing

We apply a penetrating (impregnating) sealer that helps the stone resist stains and moisture. Outdoors, we use a breathable sealer made for outdoor stone.

    Grout Cleaning & Repair

Deep grout cleaning, re-grouting of cracked or missing joints, and grout color sealing for an even, easy-clean finish.

    Patios, Pool Decks & Showers

Outdoors we pressure-clean, treat algae and mildew, refill holes, reset loose pavers and seal. In showers we remove soap scum and hard-water haze, repair grout, fill holes and seal.

    What Our Customers Say

From the testimonials on our website.

“First of all I would like to start by saying that George has amazing customer service skills. From the moment I called until my travertine floor was restored he was there every step of the way, making sure everything was running smooth. He even called me in the middle of the job to make sure the guys were not interfering with my activities around the house. Not to mention the results Jahir and his team, Joe and Danny did an amazing job my wife and I are extremely happy.”

“When I was preparing to host a new years party, I was concerned about my guest staining my beautiful gray limestone kitchen island, to prevent this, I went and bought a very nice protective tablecloth. The day after the party I realized that for some reason the tablecloth had been moved and left a corner area of the island unprotected. Apparently, my wonderful friends who I adore figured they would rather protect my tablecloth than my island and ended up putting their wine glasses on the stone instead. Leaving rings all over the area. John came in, was very specific about what I could expect when refinishing the island and after a few weeks of obsessing over the rings had the work done by Jahir. Now it looks like nothing ever happened to it. I have nothing but great things to say about John and Jahir they are excellent people and very professional.”

    How It Works

    1. Free estimate. We look at your travertine, check holes, etching, wear and grout, and do a water test to see if the sealer still works.
    2. Clear recommendation. Honed or polished, full restoration or clean-polish-seal, with the options explained. We often do a small test area first.
    3. Protect the area. We cover baseboards, cabinets and nearby surfaces and control water and slurry.
    4. Restore & seal. Our own crews clean, fill, repair, hone, polish and seal, then walk the job with you and leave simple care tips.

We stand behind our work. Residential and commercial: homes, HOAs, condos, offices and lobbies.

    Travertine FAQ

Can you fill the holes in my travertine?

Yes. We clean out the open holes, fill them with a color-matched filler, and hone the fill flush so it blends with the stone. This works on filled travertine whose old fill has popped out and on tumbled travertine you want smoother.

What's the difference between honed and polished travertine?

Honed travertine has a smooth matte or satin look. It is less slippery and hides wear well. Polished travertine is glossy and reflective. We can do either, and we can show you on a test area.

How do you clean travertine without damaging it?

We use stone-safe, pH-neutral cleaners and never acid, which etches travertine. Grout is deep cleaned at the same time, and old peeling coatings are stripped before the stone is sealed.

How often should travertine be sealed?

It depends on the sealer and how the area is used. Busy floors, showers and outdoor travertine usually need resealing every 1–3 years. A simple water-drop test shows when it's time, and we'll check it during your estimate.

Do you work on travertine patios and pool decks?

Yes. We clean, treat algae, refill holes, reset loose pavers, re-sand or re-grout joints, and seal outdoor travertine, including pool decks and walkways.
