Reliant Concrete Care

A metallic epoxy floor looks like liquid stone: deep, glossy and full of movement. Our crew hand-works pearlescent metallic pigments through clear epoxy while it’s wet, so the color drifts into veins, waves and clouds that catch the light from every angle. No two floors are ever the same. We design and install metallic floors for homes, showrooms, restaurants, offices and salons across Orange County and Los Angeles, from our home base in La Habra.
Quick answer: Metallic epoxy is a decorative, seamless floor system: a primer and colored base, a hand-worked metallic coat, and a clear wear coat, all installed over diamond-ground concrete. It suits interior living spaces, showpiece garages and commercial spaces where the floor is part of the design.

Reliant Concrete Care
River rock and pebble stone epoxy is part of our epoxy coatings work for outdoor concrete. We mix natural, kiln-dried stone with a UV-stable binder and hand-trowel it over your sound existing concrete, with no demolition. It works well on patios, walkways and side yards, pool surrounds, steps, porches and entries, and garden borders. Driveways need a vehicle-rated system laid at driveway depth, which we confirm at the estimate. We serve homes and properties across Orange County and Los Angeles County.
River rock epoxy is an overlay. It needs a sound slab underneath, and it doesn’t fix heaving, settling or structurally broken concrete, or a slab that drains the wrong way. If that’s what we find, we’ll tell you and recommend new concrete pouring or concrete patio repair and resurfacing first.
Glow-stone accents available.
These are concept illustrations, not Reliant projects. Actual stone color and texture vary.

A seamless decorative floor with metallic pigments hand-worked into clear epoxy over a colored base, sealed under a clear wear coat. The result has 3-D depth and movement.
You choose the look, palette and level of movement. The exact veining forms during the pour, so every floor is one of a kind. At your design consult we help you see your colors in your own light.
Like polished stone, a high-gloss floor can be slick when wet. We can add a slip-resistant texture to the wear coat or use a satin finish, and we recommend it for garages, entries, kitchens and commercial spaces.
Any high-gloss floor shows scratches more than a textured flake floor. A tough clear wear coat, entry mats, felt pads and regular dust-mopping keep it looking great, and the wear coat can be refreshed later without redoing the metallic design.
Epoxy can yellow with strong, direct sunlight, even under a UV-stable topcoat. Metallic floors look their best indoors and in low-sun spaces. We check sun exposure at your estimate and give you an honest recommendation.
Yes, especially for showpiece and collector garages. For daily-driver garages with lots of sun, gravel or hot tires, we may suggest a flake or polyaspartic floor that hides wear better. We’ll walk you through both.
We build garage floors with full diamond-ground prep and a wear coat made for vehicle traffic, and we give you a clear schedule for when you can park.
Yes. We can design around brand colors, cabinets, countertops or even a car, and we settle the design with you at your design consult before anything is poured.
Metallic is a stunning choice for dining rooms, bars and lobbies with a slip-resistant finish. For greasy, wet back-of-house areas we recommend a textured system built for that environment.
Ask us about after-hours or phased scheduling for showrooms, restaurants and offices.
Dust-mop grit and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Skip harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and wax.
Every slab, space and design is different, so we quote after a Free On-Site Estimate that covers testing, repairs and your chosen look.
Pricing depends on the size of the area, the condition of the base, the stone blend and the options you choose, such as borders, glow-stone accents or an anti-slip finish. That’s why we come out and give you a Free On-Site Estimate.
Loose stones usually come from too little binder, wet stone or loose troweling. We weigh the stone, mix the binder at the exact kit ratio, use kiln-dried stone and trowel the surface tight. A periodic re-glaze keeps the surface locked in.
Standard epoxies can yellow under strong UV. For sun-exposed work we use a UV-stable binder chosen for Southern California sun. A periodic re-glaze helps light stone stay bright.
Lighter stone blends generally stay cooler underfoot than dark ones, so we suggest light blends around pools. A tight trowel finish and finer stone give a smoother feel.
The stone gives a textured, slip-resistant surface, and water drains down through it instead of sitting on top. For pool decks, steps and other wet areas we can add an anti-slip finish.
Often, yes. Minor cracks get routed and filled, and old coatings and Kool Deck come off before we start. Heaving or structurally failing concrete isn’t a good candidate, because an overlay doesn’t fix slab movement. In that case we’ll walk you through new concrete or patio repair first.
It depends on the binder, the weather and how you’ll use the area. We give you the return-to-use timing for your project at the estimate and confirm it at handover.
Sweep or blow off debris, rinse it, and give it a low-pressure wash now and then. In full sun it needs a periodic UV re-glaze, and we’ll go over that with you up front.
Some debris can settle into the gaps between stones, especially under trees. A blower or stiff broom clears most of it, and a low-pressure wash handles the rest.
At your Free On-Site Estimate we walk you through the stone blends, stone sizes and border options, and help you pick the look that fits your space and your light.
It can be, with a vehicle-rated system laid at driveway depth over a sound slab. Not every texture is made for tires, so we check your driveway and recommend the right system at the estimate.
